Destiny and Free Will

Do we have a destiny that we cannot avoid in a complex multi dimensional story with countless actors and props? If so then although we appear to have free will, our choices in a sense have already been made for us. Within all of this, the ego as a mechanism keeps us playing our role in the drama. Could it be then that we are all part of a great dance between consciousness and matter? Just like actors we simply act out the story which is like an eternal imprint created by the Source of consciousness so it could know itself. As souls or spirits the more present we can become the more we can begin to glimpse this unfathomable great inter-play as it happens. It’s as if we are in a complex dream which we realise sometimes and then soon forget.
